anywho, i just decided to revive this blog. :D (unless its secretly been decided to shut down, in which case, what the heck) i'm uber bored, with absolutely nothing to do. (okay, i'm lying. i should be studying) but yeah, bored none the less. its raya holidays now, and i haven't seen the cousins in ages. i was just thinking how few people will be around for cny next year. but its okay, we'll have christmas! :) if i'm not mistaken, everyone will be around. yay. :D and most important of all, i'll be FINISHED with SPM. yipeeeee :)

Dim Sum Outing!

Finally!! We had our Dim Sum, although only 5 of us went (Me, Nette, Vin, Mel, Jo)... We were suppose to have dim sum when Mel was back... I think it was last year... but we still haven't went Karaoke-ing... Wait for Jac to come back... Then all of us can go~!

We went to 1U today... Wat's the name of the shop I osso tak ingat... sry sry... I know it is right beside Laksa Shack... We ordered too much... Nette ordered 2 each of watever she was ordering.. hahaha... We were just nodding our heads... It was so yummy!!! Had tan-tart, fu-chuk, chicken feet, pai kuat, siu mai, ha-kau, "da bomb" which is this round ball with sesame seeds all around filled with pandan flavoured lotus paste (I think), fried carrot cake, fried yam in a ball (haha... forgot the name osso), AND CHA SIEW PAO!! The pao was the last thing left on our table.. We were all soooo muak adey... in the end Mel and Vin ate the last 2 Paos...

After that we went to the cinema to buy tickets for Transformers... The queue was crazy... but still cannot beat the lines at Midvalley... Hah! We decided to go to TGV because the line wasn't as long as GSC... bought tickets for 3 o' clock show... We still had time left so we went hang kai kai... The shop beside Old Town Kopitiam so cute!! Got so many piggies and turtles and MUSHROOMS!! ALL PLUSH! hehe... Vin found this Cheese clock, which wasn't made out of cheese... It didn't even looked close to a cheese... It was just yellow... the screen was a piece of glass which shows the time... and it is see through... Vin wanted to get it after we watch the movie... but he forgot abt it...

The show was COOL! Really... I thought that all the fighting would make it a bit boring but it was OKAY! even STAR newspaper gave it an A+... Watch it in the Cinemas... It sounds more CHUN! Nette jumped and was squeling (softly with her hands covering her mouth) at some parts of the show... and and... there was this fella sitting right in front of Jojo nicely snoring away... the funny part was when he choked on his own saliva and woke up!!! GROSS!!! There was another guy sitting the same row as us... He was practially at the edge of his seat throughout the show... He was soooo into the show... Probably a fanatic of Transformers...
but ya... this show is really nice... 2 and a half hours I think...

That's all we did today... Tmr might be going for the anime thing at Taylors... with Seang, Jo and maybe Mel... Then at night got dinner at Mel's house... Might be going for Mango-loh after that.. See first...

ViN - BananaZ Reunion

Wanted to email the bananas, but since I haven't been updating on this blog so I'll just make my broadcast here! HahaH!

Waaaw, I can't even remember the last time the 8 of us were together. Definitely before JacQ left for her shiny new life in Hamilton, but I can't recall was Mel with us then? Mel's kinda embroidered to her life in the LSE you see.. Heh.. So it's highly likely that it's been a good year since our last gathering!

But fear not little one! As our separation is soon coming to an end... temporarily. Heh. This July, I expect that we'll be all back in Malaysia, having and attending gatherings, parties and such (No FFK-ing arr!) And no, I haven't watched Pirates yet! Mmmmphhhh! Someone MUST watch that with me when I get home! *Looks for victim* Hope they're still in the cinemas though, if not I'll have to settle for faan-paan DVD. Boooo.....

I'm trying to plan an island/beach trip. Maybe at the East Coast. I'm looking at Lang Tengah. So bananas, please let me know your holidays schedule/timetable for July, if any. I really really really hope that our breaks, for once, coincide. If not, then bah, we'll just go swim and tan at our usual Tropicana!

Paintball outing!

See, I soo good...I post something...hahahaha....I post about our paintball outing...quite outdated la...but at least I put it up here...later ony put up on my blog...

Ok...we were suppose to meet at McD's at 7.30...knowing us Malaysians, famous for our MRT, some arrived at 7.45 and 8... After eating we made our way to TT sports park...

When we went there, it was still early...nobody there...wait wait wait...

Ok...let's get straight to the point...Since there was 14 of us, we splitted up into groups of 7...Group 1 and group 2...nette and nikki were in grp 1 ... jojo and I were in grp 2...

Whats new and whats not

Its exactly 6 am London time and here I am: blogging!
Mostly out of guilt for losing touch.. so here goeslah:

Last week marked the beginning of my 5-week alleged Easter break.

I say alleged because this generous break is actually an illusion to con prospective students into applying to LSE.

Oklah, I'll be truthful...to con prospective LAZY students like me who were hoping to just holiday!! my way to a degree..

Basically instead of lying by the beach sipping on my coconut in my ah-ma swimwear,

I'm supposed to spend the whole 5 weeks hovering over books and memorize CRAZILY complicated theories in 'the best social science library in the world'. *in sing song voice*

I'm only bitter because I care and also because I miss my A&W onion rings and waffles.

With all the stress and emotional trauma I suffered from uncovering the con job regarding the holiday misdescription....

*pause*

I went to Belgium.

*pause*

For four days.

No. Seriously. -_-

Reasoning: I needed the chocolate to boost my spirits and brain power. =)

Whether it helped or not, I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Besides the chocs, the other only tourist attraction worth mentioning was everyone's strange obsession with Mannekin Pis.

Don't let the picture fool you guys, the souvenir mock ups were probably bigger than the actual fountain itself.

I'm quite sure they had a similar fountain outside Atria as well...

Oh well, at least its amusing and I can be all touristy and take ah-lian photos =p

The statue is suppose to either commemorate a rich dude who thought he lost his son but found him peeing outside somewhere...???!
